There will occur a maintenance break in the wireless networks of the City Centre campus, Kauppi campus and Teacher Training School on Thu 14 October between 7 and 8 am due to an urgent software update. The estimated duration of the break is approximately 15 minutes, and the break is over by 8 am.

Extensive maintenance break affects the visibility of intranet content. The maintenance break also applies to the public Student’s Guide and IT services handbook.

Thursday 23 September an intranet version update will be made from 17.00. Due to a version update, the contents of the intranet will be re-indexed. During the procedure, the contents (news, events, handbook pages, unit pages, user profiles) will appear incomplete for some time.

Content re-indexing is estimated to take 3-4 hours, after which the content will reappear. Re-indexing of person profiles may take until the morning. During the procedure, you can speed up the updating of your person profile and targeting information by signing in to intra again.

Hervanta: Interruption in the network connection of Hervanta Konetalo. The device upgrade causes a break of about 10-15 minutes for all connections in Konetalo. The break is scheduled to begin at approx. at 17.15. During the outage, none of the Konetalo’s network connections work. The outage may also disrupt electronic access control.

During the maintenance evening breaks will occur in the following packaged services of the higher education community:

• Services requiring a Haka login
• Single Sign On system
• Moodle learning environments
• Electronic services of the staff and students
• Changing the password, activating a new user account
• Websites, blogs and the intranet
• Networks, including wireless networks
• Printing and scanning
• Workstations and home directories
