Issue

At 7:00-9:00 on Tuesday 4 April 2023, modifications will be made to the network connections. This may cause interruptions or short outages in the wireless TUNI-STAFF network connections on all campuses.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The changes to be made are part of the TUNI core network renewal project, in which the core network implementation of the campuses will be renewed during 2021-2023 and the Internet connection will be updated to better serve the current and future needs of the Tampere university community.

Interruptions in network connections of TAMK G-building

Issue

Network device replacements will cause interruptions and short outages in the network connections in TAMK G-building 3rd and 4th floor

The change work will start with the wireless network, after which the wired connections will be changed one by one. From the point of view of an individual user, the estimated duration of the connection outage is a few minutes at most.

Dates for future changes:

  • Wednesday 5.4. at 7-11 3rd floor
  • Thursday 13.4. at 7-11 3rd floor
  • Thursday 4.5. at 7-11 4th floor
