Maintenance break in intranet, Content machine and Student’s guide on Thu 10 December at 7.30 – 9.00

Issue

Intranet (intra.tuni.fi), Content machine and Student’s guide (tuni.fi/studentsguide) will be under maintenance on Thursday 10 December. Due to the maintenance, short breaks might occur between 7.30 and 9.00.

Service break in helpdesk.tuni.fi portal 9 Dec at 17-23

Issue

There will be a maintenance break in the Helpdesk self-service portal (helpdesk.tuni.fi) and in the TUNI service management system (servicedesk.tuni.fi) on Wednesday 9 December 2020 from 5 pm to 11 pm.

Efecte will back up the environments from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm before the actual service window. This may cause slowness in the system.

Short disruption in Zoom on Sun 6 December between 1 am and 2 am, Zoom client version 5.2.0 required after that

Issue

Ongoing Zoom meetings will be interrupted within this time frame because of configuration change to our Zoom service.
Older clients will be required to update to 5.2.0 or newer upon joining a meeting after the change is implemented.

Problems with TUNI Moodle on 4.12. at 4 pm

Resolution

Configuration error from the service provider.

Issue

TUNI Moodle has had short service breaks and showed errors
“Poikkeus – Failed to connect (try 5 out of 5) to redis, error: Failed to AUTH connection”

Service provider is investigating the issue.

Problems accessing files within Teams

Issue

Some users may be unable to access files within Microsoft Teams.
Users will see the error : “We are setting up your file directory.”

Users may be able to mitigate this problem by signing out and then back into Microsoft Teams or opening files directly from SharePoint Online wherever possible.

The issue is under investigation.
