Issue

TUNI Groups portal will be updated by the service provider on August 21, 2020.

During the update, usage of the portal (https://tuni.fi/groups) is unavailable and it is not be possible to create new TUNI Groups.

The update fixes problems with the use of the portal. Usage of existing TUNI Groups applications, such like Teams, SharePoint and Planner, is possible since the update will only concern TUNI Groups portal.

Please contact IT Helpdesk, if you face problems with the TUNI Groups portal after the update.

  • Services requiring a Haka login
  • Single Sign On system
  • Moodle learning environments
  • Office 365 service, including email
  • Electronic services of the staff and students
  • Changing the password, activating a new user account
  • Websites, blogs and the intranet
  • Networks, including wireless networks
  • Printing and scanning
  • Workstations and home directories

TUT VPN services will end August 20

Resolution

The use of old TUT VPN services will end on 20.8. at 5 pm. The change applies to staff-ras.vpn.tut.fi, student-ras.vpn.tut.fi and public.vpn.tut.fi services, which will be replaced by the eduvpn.tuni.fi service for both staff and students. After this time, users can no longer login or use these services.

Issue

After this time, users can no longer login or use these services.

Maintenance break in intranet, main website and content machine on Thu 20 August

Intranet (intra.tuni.fi), public main site (www.tuni.fi) and Content machine services will be under maintenance on Thursday 20 August. Due to the maintenance, short breaks might occur between 7.30 and 9.00.

Maintanence break in all TAMK IT services

Issue

Whole network in TAMK is under maintenance on Thursday 13th of August between 20 and 23. None of the TAMK IT services can be used during the maintenance.

For example these services are unavailable:

  • Digma Moodle
  • Exam
  • Pakki
  • Peppi
  • Tabula Moodle
  • TUNI Wiki

All services requiring network connection are unavailable during the maintenance. Also electronic door locks are affected, so it is recommended to stay out of the main campus.
