Some TAMK systems are out of reach from TUNI-STAFF wifi at the moment, we’re fixing it already. Meanwhile, if you have trouble reaching the systems, you can use TUNI VPN even in campus to reach them.

Modifications will be made to TAMK’s core network on Sunday 14 Nov. 2021 from 9:00 to 17:00, during which there may be short interruptions in TAMK’s IT services. 

 Possible interruptions may occur e.g. in the following services:

• Pakki, Peppi ja Wiki
• Wired and wireless network connections in TAMK’s facilities and services using them (eg TUNI workstations and printers)
• TAMK access control of Kuntokatu 4 (P, R, S and T buildings) and Mediapolis (Mediapolis’ own access keys are not covered by the disturbance)

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The changes to be made are part of the TUNI core network renewal project, in which the core network implementation of the campuses will be renewed during 2021-2022 and the Internet connection will be updated to better serve the current and future needs of the Tampere university community.

Issue

During the downtime it is not possible to log in to the intranet and content machine. The downtime is estimated to take two hours.

There will be preparatory work on intranet for the structural change of the intranet on Thursday 11th November at 7.00-9.00. This will cause downtime on the intranet and the content machine.
