Issue
The certificate for wireless networks eduroam and roam.fi will be updated on 17 March, 2022. You can prepare for the update now by downloading the getedurom app on your mobile device or Windows workstation and installing the updated settings at https://geteduroam.app/.
If you have other problems with the eduroam or roam.fi networks, such as an expired password, then you should also install the new settings with the geteduroam app.
The Geteduroam app is available for Apple, Windows and Android operating systems. If your device does not support the geteduroam App, you can also find the wireless network installation profile at https://cat.eduroam.org/.
The change does not apply to centrally maintained work computers or if you only use the TUNI-STAFF wireless network on your mobile device.

Special pints to consider:
TUNI home and group directory services (P and S disks) will be updated during the maintenance evening at 18-24 which may cause intterruptions in directory services. If your computer is left open overnight and you encounter problems with the directories the next day, log out and log in again. If the office file is left open in the home or group directory and autosave does not work, save the file again.
During the maintenance evening breaks will occur in the following packaged services of the higher education community:
- Services requiring a Haka login
- Single Sign On system
- Moodle learning environments
- Electronic services of the staff and students
- Changing the password, activating a new user account
- Websites, blogs and the intranet
- Networks, including wireless networks
- Printing and scanning
- Workstations and home directories
