During the maintenance evening breaks will occur in the following packaged services of the higher education community:

• Services requiring a Haka login
• Single Sign On system
• Moodle learning environments
• Electronic services of the staff and students
• Changing the password, activating a new user account
• Websites, blogs and the intranet
• Networks, including wireless networks
• Printing and scanning
• Workstations and home directories

Resource Booker and Timetabler will be on a service break from 5th December until 8th December due to a larger upgrade to a new SaaS environment.

Location bookings can be reviewed in TAU Timetables , but new bookings can not be made during the break.

Service break on Thursday, December 31, 2023, 5 PM –  9 PM applies to Eduuni-wiki.

Eduuni-wiki is restricted from public internet until the service break. Wiki can be used from campus networks, including TUNI VPN.

Reason for the service break is critical vulnerability in the Atlassian Confluence product.

Update: Because of technical problems, the outage was extended until 7:25. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the outage.

Issue

Service provider will make changes to Moodle server environment. Because of this, TUNI Moodle will shut down on Thursday 7.12.2023 at 00:00. Moodle will be again available on Thursday morning at 06:00 at latest.

Please note that Moodle can’t be used during that time.
