Problems in academic enrollment

Issue

For some students, enrolling for the next academic year has not worked in the Oili-service since 1.8. The problem is currently being fixed. We apologise for all inconveniences caused by this.

Because of this problem some students are not able to log in to intranet. Student’s guide functions normally. If the problem continues 5.8. these students are not able to log in to Sisu. Enrolling for courses opens 5.8. and ends 19.8. for the first teaching period. The time or order of the course enrollment however does not have an effect on whether the students are accepted to a course.

Eduroam and roam.fi wireless networks will require TUNI account for sign in

If you are not sure what account your device uses, remove the old eduroam and roam.fi settings. Then reinstall the networks to your device using the installation packages available at https://cat.eduroam.org. Choose Tampere Universities as an organization. Eduroam and roam.fi networks have the same settings except the network name. Finally sign in using your tuni email address. You can find more information on the intranet.

On centrally maintained TUNI Windows computers the change must be made by clicking a shortcut icon “FixTuniManagedWifi” on the desktop in the “TUNI Tools” folder.

Eduroam is an international encrypted roaming access service for Wireless LAN. It consists of universities, research centers, schools, public spaces and other communities in Finland and abroad.

Roam.fi is an encrypted roaming access service for Wireless LAN. It consists of Finnish Universities and other communities.

  • Single Sign On system
  • Moodle learning environments
  • Office 365 service, including email
  • Electronic services of the staff and students, including Student’s desktop, Opsi, Opsu, Pop, Rock, Tabula
  • Changing the password, activating a new user account
  • Websites, blogs and the intranet
  • Networks, including wireless networks
  • Printing and scanning
  • Workstations and home directories

Intranet (intra.tuni.fi), public main site (www.tuni.fi) and Content machine services will be under maintenance on Thursday 9 July. Due to the maintenance, short breaks might occur between 7.30 and 9.00.
