Service break in TAMK´s electronic forms on 19 August at 16-17

Issue

E-forms service lomake.tamk.fi and its electronic forms are unavailable on Thursday the 19th of August between 4pm and 5pm. The service will be updated to new version.

The new version fixes some issues in the service.

The connection issue seems to be resolved

Issue

There’s a connection issue on our internet service provider and it can cause problems with TUNI systems.

If you are not on universities network, disconnecting VPN might help with the issues.

Service break in Sisu on Thu 5 August from 5 pm

Issue

Sisu will be updated to a new version (Sisu 2.3) on Thu 5 August 2021. There will be a service break from 5 pm. The expected downtime is 1-2 hours.

During the service break there may occur interruptions with the intranet’s study-related widgets and they will not be updated.

TUNI Moodle service break on Thu 5 August from 7.30 am

Resolution

Service break was longer than expected, but the database changes resolved the Moodle issues

Issue

TUNI Moodle has technical issues at the moment and some of its functions does not work reliably.

To fix the problem, TUNI Moodle has service break on Thu 5.8.2021 between 7.30 and 8.00.

Functions causing occasional error messages are

  • course copying with Import functionality
  • creating new courses directly from Moodle
  • adding background image to Moodle course page
  • starring favorite courses in Moodle dashboard

If you get errors from other Moodle functions, please contact IT Helpdesk.

During the maintenance evening breaks will occur in the following packaged services of the higher education community:

  • Services requiring a Haka login
  • Single Sign On system
  • Moodle learning environments
  • Electronic services of the staff and students
  • Changing the password, activating a new user account
  • Websites, blogs and the intranet
  • Networks, including wireless networks
  • Printing and scanning
  • Workstations and home directories
