Upgrades to the wireless and wired networks on the main campuses are being undertaken to maintain and improve the performance of campus networks. There may occur short interruptions on network connections in these locations:

  • Hervanta, Tietotalo, Floor 2, C wing
  • Hervanta, Tietotalo, Floor 0 & lecture halls TB104 and TB103

Some users may encounter performance issues with Outlook

Issue

Some users may have noticed that Outlook was consuming higher-than-normal system resources, affecting all Outlook connection methods, including the desktop client and Outlook on the web.

Resolution steps

This issue has been resolved. However, affected users may need to take specific actions to apply the changes:

  • Outlook Client and App users: Please restart the Outlook client or app. Desktop users may need to restart twice due to caching.
  • Outlook on the Web users: Refresh your session. If issues persist, clear your browser cache and refresh the session again.

TUNI Moodle service break Thu 10 October between 00-06:30

Issue

Service provider will make fixes to network devices in Moodle server environment. Because of this, TUNI Moodle will shut down on Thursday 5.9.2024 at 00:00. Moodle will be again available on Thursday morning at 06:30 at latest.

Please note that Moodle can’t be used during that time.

Students: Moodle content and assignments are not available during the Moodle service break.
