Interruptions possible in electronic services and network connections on Tuesday 26 April

Issue

Modifications will be made to the network connections of Hervanta campus on Tuesday 26 April 2022 at 19:00-24:00, during which interruptions or short outages may occur in the network connections of all campuses and sites (including research networks and VPNs).  Interruptions may also occur in electonic services and other services that use HAKA authentication when logging in with TUNI ID.

In principal, the changes will not affect the use of M365 services (eg Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) outside campuses and other sites.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The changes to be made are part of the TUNI core network renewal project, in which the core network implementation of the campuses will be renewed during 2021-2022 and the Internet connection will be updated to better serve the current and future needs of the Tampere university community.
