Issue
New IT-status service, beta.status.tuni.fi, has been launched for trial use.
The service is still under development, and more monitoring data from continuously monitored services will be added. Please note, network status is still in development and does not yet show real WiFi status.
As development continues, feedback is welcome! Provide your feedback using this form or contact us.
During the trial period, the current service at status.tuni.fi will continue to operate alongside the new one. The language of both services is English.

Changes in authentication servers of ad.tuni.fi domain may cause service breaks
Notice
15.11.2023 10:00 - 5.12.2023 00:00
Issue
Logon servers of ad.tuni.fi domain will be replaced during the rest of the year 2023. The changes will not be visible to the average user. The changes may lead to service breaks, for example on special research of teaching related computers in nonstandard networks on the campus.
In the first phase, new servers will be added alongside the old ad.tuni.fi logon servers (Active Directory Domain Controllers) on the following schedule:
- 15.11.2023 at 10.00
- 29.11.2023 at 10.00
- 30.11.2023 at 10.00
How will the change be visible to the user?
On a normal computer, the change will not be visible in any way.
After each change to the servers, access to services that use these logon servers may be disrupted, if the computer is connected to a network which hasn’t been opened in the firewall of the new logon server. For example, the error message can be “An Active Directory Domain Controller could not be contacted”.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
