Intra and content machine will be out of use on Tuesday 13.2. due to a maintenance break

Issue

Intra, content machine, tuni.fi, the student’s guide and the IT services site will be moved to a new production environment on Tuesday 13 February starting at 8 am. Due to a maintenance break, intra and content machine will be out of use for approximately 4-8 hours.
The exact length of the maintenance break cannot be fully predicted, but we are prepared for at least a half-day break.

The public website tuni.fi, the student’s guide and the IT services site are normally seen for the users, but no new information will be updated or published.

During the maintenance break the most important information, events and links for students and staff members will be compiled at tuni.fi/intrainfo. A link to the mentioned page will be found during the break in the login site of Intra.
Public information can be found at tuni.fi/info.

Transfer of TUNI Wiki and Jira workspaces to the new TUNI environment starting on Monday 27 November 2023

Issue

All TUNI Wiki (wiki.tamk.fi) and TUNI Jira (jira.tamk.fi) workspaces in active use will be transferred to the new TUNI environment during week 48. The transfer will start on Monday 27 November 2023. Use of the new environment will begin on December 1, 2023.

The current environments are readable during the transfer. The transition to the new TUNI Wiki/Jira environment will not affect the use of the CSC Eduuni wiki used for the research collaboration need.

Interruptions in network connections of TAMK Mediapolis on Fri 4.8.

Issue

The change will cause interruptions at the same time to the wired and wireless networks. From the point of view of an individual user, the estimated duration of the connection outage is a few minutes at most.

The change will be made on Friday 4.8. causing interruptions throughout the day.

These changes are a part of network renewal project. Network devices are replaced in campuses to better serve the current and future needs of the Tampere university community.
