Problems in logging into TUNI EXAM

Resolution

The problem has now been fixed and it is possible to log in to EXAM again.

Issue

Logging in to exam.tuni.fi is not possible currently.

The problem is being investigated by the provider CSC.

Version update in Efecte on 24-25 October

Issue

The services https://servicedesk.tuni.fi/ and https://helpdesk.tuni.fi/ will be updated to a new version. During the upgrade services are not in use.

Environments are backed up 20-21 just before the update. This may cause slowness in using Efecte.

Service break in SAP system on 19-23 October

Issue

Certia will update its SAP system in October. The new SAP version will be deployed on Tuesday 24 October 2023. Due to the deployment, there will be a service break in SAP from Thursday 19 October to Monday 23 October 2023.

During the service break, 19–23 October, Certia’s service portal, SAP, SAP BW, Martti, the interfaces and services robots will be closed to users.

Zoom Cloud Recording problem

Resolution

Zoom found a workaround, so cloud recordings seems to be working again. Cloud recording re-enabled in TUNI Zoom meetings.

Issue

Zoom cloud recordings are not transfered to Panopto because  NORDUnet is not receiving web hooks from Zoom about finished recorded meeting at the moment.

NORDUnet has contacted Zoom and is working on resolving the issue. NORDUnet expects all recordings to show up when the issue is fixed.

Recommendation: Please avoid cloud recording at the moment or do local recording in addition to cloud recording.

Maintenance evening on Thursday 19 October

During the maintenance evening breaks will occur in the following packaged services of the higher education community:

  • Services requiring a Haka login
  • Single Sign On system
  • Moodle learning environments
  • Electronic services of the staff and students
  • Changing the password, activating a new user account
  • Websites, blogs and the intranet
  • Networks, including wireless networks
  • Printing and scanning
  • Workstations and home directories
